When you use FindIt, we may collect:

• Account data: name, email address, password (hashed).
• Business data: name, address, phone, website, photos you submit.
• Usage data: pages visited, search queries (anonymised).
• Cookies: session cookies to keep you logged in.

2. How We Use It

• To provide and improve the directory service.
• To display your business listing to visitors.
• To send account notifications (never marketing without consent).
• To detect and prevent abuse.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider.
• Vercel — our hosting provider.
• Stripe — for payment processing (paid plans only).

4. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Object to processing.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Business listings may be retained in anonymised form for directory integrity.
